Katie gets her wheels ! It seems odd that the one person primarily responsible for organizing and delivering the longest, most complex off-road motorcycle adventure rides in Australia, has never actually ridden a motorcycle herself!

Cannonball Charity Rides are very pleased to announce their intention to become a major supporter of DEBRA Australia. Cannonball Charity Rides have raised over $70,000 for chosen charities since their inaugural event in 2007. Ride organiser Ms Katie Warfield said that the Cannonballers were very pleased to be supporting such a small and deserving group as DEBRA for future events, including the 2011 ride. "Upon becoming aware of DEBRA, the work that needs doing and lack of Government support provided, we just had to get involved," said Katie. "I believe a strong relationship can be formed between the two groups where we can use the Cannonball Charity Ride to assist in raising some much needed funds for DEBRA Australia."
